Hello, everyone! I’m changing up my social media in the New Year. I love writing The Crone and the columns herein, and I will still continue to produce this content…just somewhere else.
Substack is a lovely mechanism for monetizing newsletters, and I’ve just never been into that. I’ve always had the Ko-fi option, should you have ever felt the need to contribute, but it’s never been my main purpose in writing The Crone.
This year, I’m streamlining and simplifying. I feel the need to have an author newsletter, which is vital for many reasons, and if that aspect of me interests you, all you need do is link away. However, I think many of you read my musings because you like me, which I truly appreciate. Many of you come to my musings via Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, as well as having me send this to you. I’m going to start blogging this kind of content at my website and posting links on social media to that content. I could send you The Crone with a link as the content, but that seems hardly cricket, really. :D
So…if there is anyone out there that only gets my information via The Crone, please let me know, and I’ll talk to you. I suspect, though, that the majority of you will be able to find my meanderings via a social media link that sends you to my site.
Before I sign off, let me tell you about a couple of events, one for everyone, everywhere, and another for Iowans.
On Wednesday, January 12th at 7:30 pm CST, I’ll be online reading, hosted by Swamp Fox Books.
Saturday, January 22nd, at 2 pm author and friend Doug Engstrom and I will be reading at Beaverdale Books in Des Moines.
Now, I’m going to go off to my website and write a New Year’s post, and post links on my social media, where I’ll look for you as I finish up my Marvel reflections and talk about a myriad of things. Thank you, as always for reading. I hope to hear from you in my cozy web home.
